If you have answered `yes’ to some of these questions, then the NVQ in Learning & Development may be just what you are looking for.

These awards are aimed at people delivering training and learning in the workplace. They are suitable for those who have responsibilities for training, and who may have a supervisory or management role.

The awards are designed to be flexible.

If you decide on the full NVQ route at either level 3 or 4, you have a choice between Learning & Development or Direct Training & Support.

Alternatively, you may decide to undertake a choice of single units (usually 3 or 4 units) which, when combined together, are certificated as a `mini-award’. These awards are a new and exciting development, which are proving to be very popular. Options are as follows:

  • Certificate in Mentoring in the Workplace
  • Certificate in Coaching Learners in the Workplace
  • Certificate in Training & Presenting in the Workplace
  • Certificate in Skills Training in the Workplace
  • Certificate in Workplace Learning
  • Certificate in Initial Assessment and Support of Learners
  • Certificate in Review and Assessment of Learning
  • Certificate in Basic Skills Development in the Workplace
  • Certificate in Basic Skills Support in the Workplace
